- Following the uptrend in China market, a Thai PE producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the producer’s offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film increased by $20 and $25/ton respectively from last week. While for LLDPE FilmC4, the offers were adjusted up significantly by $50/ton compared to the same period. The producer stated that market response is unsatisfactory. So far, the producer only managed to sell HDPE Film, with deals concluded at $800-810/ton from the initial offer at $810/ton. All on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis.
- A trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the import offers for PE across all grades from Qatar increased by $40/ton compared to last Friday. While compared to last Monday, the offers dropped by $40/ton as the producer made a sudden downward adjustment of $80/ton in the middle of last week and kept it stable until the end of last week. The current offers stand at $720/ton for HDPE Film and $780/ton for LDPE Film. While for LLDPE Film C4, the offers stand between $690-700/ton. All on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. In response to the offers, the trader only purchased LLDPE Film C4, with deals closed at $690/ton.
