Import PP offers on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
Description: *Offers for April shipmentMarket sources in China revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that import PP Homo Raffia prices to China market are nearing a new threshold level. For Indonesia origin cargoes, the leading polyolefins producer in the country is still offering PP Homo Raffia cargoes to China market at $800/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. In the previous week, the producer managed to secure deals at the initial offer level. This week, most customers submitted bids at $40/ton lower than the initial offer level, which got rejected by the suppliers. For Middle East origin, market talks have it that import PP Homo Raffia offers to China market have broken below $800/ton-level, captured at $760/ton with the same payment and delivery terms.
