Market sources reported to SSESSMENTS.COM a Saudi PE producer started announcing May shipment PE offers to the Southeast Asia market. To Vietnam, PE offers from the producer surfaced with a downward adjustment of $100/ton on all grades as compared to the previous month. Further added, the offers are available for CIP Haihong and Ho Chi Minh Port and for late May to mid-July shipment. The offer is valid until April 21, 2020.
To Malaysia, May shipment offers for LLDPE Film C4 from the same producer emerged at $730/ton on LC at sight, CIF Penang Port. Compared to last month, the latest offers are $70/ton lower. A Malaysian converter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM on submitting bids at $700/ton on the same payment and delivery term and currently waiting for the producer’s response.
