Transactions for import PP between March 31 to April 1 on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis
A source close to the producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM that a Malaysian producer sold PP Homo Injection cargoes at a new threshold to China market as the producer is under sales pressure. According to the source, deals for Malaysian PP Homo Injection concluded at $800/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis. The producer sold the cargoes at a low level as the producer is currently under sales pressure due to ample supply.
While for PP Homo Injection from a South Korean PP producer, the deals concluded at $60/ton higher than deals level for Malaysian cargoes. As for PP Random Copolymer Blow, deals concluded at $990/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis, $20/ton lower than the initial offers, SSESSMENTS.COM was told.
