An Indonesian trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that up to triple-digit adjustments were applied on import PP offers to the country. The trader sold PP Homo Raffia cargoes of Middle East origin between $770-780/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. The deal level was between $90-100/ton lower than two weeks ago. Compared to the same period, offers for PP Homo Injection and PP Homo Raffia from India dropped by $120/ton while offers for PP Block Copolymer from Singapore were adjusted down by $30/ton.
On a monthly comparison, late April shipment offers from a Malaysian producer for PP Homo Raffia were adjusted down by $150/ton. The trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that there will be no shipment issues for the cargoes as the lockdown in Malaysia would have ended by that time.
