RumourSSESSMENTS: ExxonMobil To Shut Cracker Unit For Maintenance

Market talks have it that Singapore ExxonMobil will shut its cracker unit for maintenance purposes. As informed to SSESSMENTS.COM, the producer’s No. 2 cracker with a production capacity of 1 million tons/year of ethylene and 600,000 tons/year of propylene will be put off-stream for about 45 days from June to July. Further added, the availability of materials from the producer will be limited during the maintenance shutdown.
