AlwaysFree: Fire At Yeosu Chemical Factory Kills Three People

An explosion and a subsequent fire hit a petrochemical manufacturing facility in the Yeosu Industrial Complex in South Korea at 1:37 PM local time on Monday, Yonhap News Agency reported. Three workers were found dead near a chemicals storage facility in the factory. They were among seven workers who were working at the facility during the incident. The other four were confirmed safe. According to the report, The emergency authorities issued a Level-2 warning but lifted it at 5:11 PM after firefighters successfully extinguished the fire. Yonhap reported that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion. However, it did not specify the company owning the site.
