India’s private sector petrochemical producer Haldia Petrochemicals (HPL) is looking to finalize term contracts for next year.
On October 24, the company issued a tender to sell 130,000 tons of benzene for 2020 and the bids must be submitted by November 1 while the results will be finalized around the end of November.
The bids will be placed against FOB South Korea price arrangements, settled at a discount in the high USD30s/t for shipment from Kolkata to a Thailand-based trading company.
