Nouryon has agreed to acquire Sasol’s merchant triethyl aluminum (TEAL) business with a finalization during the second quarter of this year. After the finishing, Nouryon will gradually move production to the site in Rotterdam, the Netherland.
The transaction followed the expansion of its Rotterdam site’s production capacity and the acquisition of metal alkyls producer Zhejiang Friend in China to strengthen Nouryon’s position in the global polymer industry.
