Author: SSESSMENTS

NuStar Energy L.P. said on Wednesday that it had completed three pipeline projects to improve oil export capacity from the Permian Basin and transport refined products into Northern Mexico. The company said it began moving volume at the pipelines on the same day.

NuStar’s pipeline project includes an eight-mile pipeline with a diameter of 30 inches which ship crude oil from the Plains Cactus II pipeline in Taft, Texas, to NuStar’s terminal in Corpus Christi, a capacity expansion in the Valley Pipeline System in South Texas from 45,000 bpd to 90,000 bpd, a reactivation of pipeline which transport diesel from terminal at Laredo, Texas, to Nuevo Laredo in Mexico.

The Valley Pipeline System ships refined products to the Rio Grande Valley and Northern Mexico from Corpus Christi. The pipeline which links terminals at Laredo to Nuevo Laredo is 11 miles long and has a diameter of 8 inches.
