On Friday, PetroChina stated that its Ningxia refinery has raised its crude oil processing rate as China is gradually recovering from the outbreak of coronavirus.
The refinery’s crude processing rate is up to 93% starting April 1 from 72% in March. In the first quarter, the refinery showed an 82,000 tonnes year-on-year production fall to 943,600 tonnes.
Typically, the refinery processed 5 million tonnes of crude oil each year.
