ExxonMobil Corp. will close a gasoline-processing unit at its 560,500 bpd refinery in Baytown, Texas early next week on the back of low demand due to the limitations of movements to limit the spread of coronavirus.
Some sources said that the 90,000 bpd gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker 2 (FCC 2) could be closed by this weekend.
The shutdown would mean all three of Exxon's US Gulf Coast refinery have curbed output.
