Author: SSESSMENTS

The Recycling Partnership on July 8 introduced the Polypropylene Recycling Coalition in the US. The coalition is an industry collaboration to improve PP recovery and recycling in the country. It also aims at developing the end-market of high-quality recycled PP.  The Coalition has opened a Request For Proposals (RFP) for Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) to apply for financial grants to improve PP recycling in the US.

Association of Plastic Recyclers, Closed Loop Partners, Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners, Sustainable Packaging Coalition, and World Wildlife Fund will provide the Polypropylene Recycling Coalition with assistance. Carol Browner, a former EPA Administrator, will serve as an independent advisor to the Coalition.

The Recycling Partnership is a nonprofit organization that leverages corporate partner funding to transform recycling for good. Its members include Keurig Dr Pepper, Braskem, the Walmart Foundation, the American Chemistry Council, Danone North America, EFS Plastics, KW Plastics, LyondellBasell, Procter & Gamble, St. Joseph Plastics, and Winpak.
