- A trader based in Ningbo informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Saudi polyolefins producer will announce a full price list for August shipment in the beginning of August. According to the trader, this week, the producer’s offers for HDPE Film were unchanged while offers for LLDPE Film C4 dropped by $30/ton compared to last week. From another Saudi producer, the trader received offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 with increases of $70/ton and $30/ton, respectively compared to offers for July shipment. The trader concluded deals for HDPE Film at $910/ton on LC at sight, CIF China main port basis or $10/ton lower than the initial offer level. Meanwhile, deals for LLDPE Film C4 were concluded at the initial offer level, at $830/ton with the same payment and delivery term.
- For local offers, another Chinese trader revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company decided to increase offers for LDPE Film between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton) compared to Monday’s level. Similarly, the trader’s offers for LLDPE Film C4 also went up by CNY50/ton ($7/ton) compared to the same period.
