- Indonesian market sources contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM informed that the leading polyolefins producer in the country has announced a new price list for the week commencing July 27. As compared to the price list released on July 20, the producer decided to trim the offers by IDR180,000-260,000/ton ($12-18/ton) for HDPE Film and IDR190,000/ton ($13/ton) for LLDPE Film C4.
- In the import market, a Philippines converter reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on receiving August shipment offers for LLDPE Film C4 from a Middle Eastern producer at $950/ton on LC at sight, CIF Philippines Main Port basis. As compared to July shipment, the offers increased by $30/ton. However, the converter is not interested in buying as the price is deemed too high and unworkable.
