- A Philippines converter informed SSESSMENTS.COM the lowest import LLDPE Film C4 offers received this week. According to the converter, among offers for LLDPE Film C4 of Southeast Asia origin, offers from the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer is the lowest, available at $920/ton on LC at sight, CIF Philippines main port basis. The offers are for September shipment. For LLDPE Film C4 of Thailand origin, the converter received offers between $950-960/ton with the same payment and delivery terms. In the domestic market, offers for HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 remain stable compared to last week.
- In Indonesia, local HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 offers are on a downtrend. A local trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the trader’s offers dropped by IDR250,000/ton ($17/ton) for the former and by IDR350,000/ton ($24/ton) for the latter. The adjustments were made following the lower offers given by the leading polyolefins producer in the country. However, buyers still hold procurements and ignore the current offers. The trader further informed that supply from the producer is ample as all PE plants are running normally.
