- A Thai trader informed to SSESSMENTS.COM that two of the PP producers in the country have increased the offers for PP Homo Raffia by THB500/ton ($16.4/ton) as compared to last week’s level. Demand reported subdued as some buyers have sufficient inventory on hand, while some others cited the slow sales for the end products. Despite the producers have increased the offers, but in the market, some traders are still selling at lower levels. To the export market, one of the Thai PP producers adjusted up offers to the Vietnam market by $20/ton as compared to last week.
- While in Indonesia, a PP producer in the country shared with SSESSMENTS.COM that the producer has increased the offers for PP Homo Raffia by IDR550,000/ton ($40.2/ton) following the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer’s pricing strategy. Demand-wise, currently buyers are on a wait-and-see stance since most of them have already bought in bulk two weeks ago. On the production front, the company’s PP plant is running at a normal capacity.
