For the week commencing January 6, an Indonesian converter voiced out their buy idea for Singaporean HDPE Blow Moulding and Malaysian LDPE Film cargoes. On a monthly comparison, the leading Malaysian polyolefins producer applied a downward adjustment of $30/ton on LDPE Film prices to Indonesia. Meanwhile, a Singaporean PE producer was settling for a price rollover from January’s level. The latest offers for HDPE Blow Moulding stand at $920/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis, SSESSMENTS.COM was told.
"For a quantity of 300 tons, we expect to secure a deal at $890/ton, similar to the previous month’s level. However, we will attempt to bid Singaporean HDPE Blow Moulding cargoes at $880/ton. As for Malaysian LDPE Film, we placed a bid between $920-930/ton. All transactions on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia Main Port basis,” the converter added.
