On July 27, a Chinese trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM the updates on local PE and PP prices in the country. As noted, the latest offers for HDPE grades generally decreased between CNY100-500/ton ($14-71/ton), except for HDPE Injection and HDPE Yarn. Similarly, offers for LDPE and LLDPE across all grades dropped by CNY100/ton ($14/ton) and CNY150/ton ($21/ton), respectively. As for PP, offers for BOPP, PP Impact Copolymer Injection, PP Random Copolymer Injection 4228, most grades of PP Homo Injection and PP Homo Raffia were adjusted down between CNY50-200/ton ($7-28/ton). In contrast, offers for PP Homo Fiber increased by CNY100/ton ($14/ton). All compared to the price list received on Tuesday, July 21.
