As stated to SSESSMENTS.COM, a Malaysian trader has adjusted down local PE and PP offers on the back of sour demand. As compared to last week’s levels, the trader applied a downward adjustment of between MYR50-100/ton ($12-24/ton) on offers for local HDPE Film, LDPE Film, LLDPE Film C4, and PP Homo Film.
However, the latest offer level gained negative responses from most customers due to growing concern over the Coronavirus outbreak. The outbreak has taken a huge toll on the global economy, affecting trading activities and market sentiment, SSESSMENTS.COM was told.
