Offer given for local PE and PP offers on cash, EXW basis (including 13% VAT in CNY term, all equivalent in USD excluding VAT)
A Chinese polyolefins producer contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM unveiled that the producer has made price adjustments on local PE and PP offers on the back of several factors. On a weekly comparison, the producer decreased the offers for LLDPE Film C4 and PP Homo Raffia between CNY100-175/ton ($14-25/ton). The decreases of PP and PE prices in the futures market that took place last week and the anticipation of increases in supply as Iranian vessels might dock in the near time, added by the arrival of the deep-sea cargoes noted as the major ground of the downward price adjustment. Besides, the re-escalating tension between China and the U.S also hampered demand for PE and PP resins.
