Sasol Ltd. announced the opening of its new alkoxylation plant in Nanjing, China. The new facility is Sasol’s biggest expansion in China and it will more than double its alkoxylation production capacity in the region.
The plant is commencing alkoxylation process of 150,000 mtpa. The plant will also have additional facilities producing anionic surfactants.
Previously, the construction of the facility started in June 2017. The plant reached beneficial operation this April.
