According to China’s General Administration of Customs, the total imports of PP have increased by around 79k tons in December compared to the previous month, at around 553k tons.
The top 5 import origins of PP to China in December were South Korea (116,207 tons), Singapore (79,939 tons), The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (60,045 tons), Saudi Arabia (59,790 tons) and United Arab Emirates (54,526 tons).
For PP-Homopolymer, the import quantity has increased marginally by around 53k tons in December compared to the previous month, at around 365k tons. The top 5 import origins to China in October were South Korea (75,417 tons), Saudi Arabia (53,073 tons), United Arab Emirates (34,064 tons), Singapore (32,296 tons) and Thailand (28,924 tons).
For PP-Copolymers, the total import quantity has surged by around 26k tons in December compared to the previous month, at around 188k tons. The top 5 import origins to China in December were Singapore (47, 643 tons), South Korea (40,790 tons), The Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (37,423 tons), United Arab Emirates (20,461 tons) and Thailand (17,455 tons).
