AlwaysFree: Another Oil Tanker Heads to Libya’s Es Sider

Author: SSESSMENTS

Shipping and trading sources said that another oil tanker is heading to Libya’s recently reopened Es Sider oil port right after a previous crude tanker left the terminal empty.

On Friday, Vitol’s chartered tanker Kriti Bastion Aframax is likely to load a 650,000 barrel cargo after obtaining all required permits, according to two sources.

It follows Unipec’s Delta Ocean Suezmax crude tanker which left the port without loading any crude cargo after being in the vicinity since July 5. Previously, Libya’s National Oil Corp. (NOC) said that on Wednesday, the Petroleum Facilities Guard blocked the tanker from the port.

One of the sources informed that Unipec will likely send another tanker to the port.
