AlwaysFree: Biden Expects Easing Inflation On Supply Logjam Relief, SPR Crude Oil Release

Author: SSESSMENTS

US President Joe Biden is trying to ease US consumers’ concerns about rising prices. On Tuesday, he praised his administration for its efforts in alleviating logjams in the US supply chain. He said that American families would have no trouble purchasing food, gifts, and everything else during the holiday season that started this week. Biden also spoke about the coordinated release of oil reserves with China, India, Japan, South Korea, and the UK, which is expected to push down fuel prices. Biden’s approval rates plunged to just 43% as the US consumer price index soared 6.2% year-on-year in October, the fastest rate in more than three decades. The Biden administration previously downplayed inflation as temporary. However, it pivoted to an all-out effort to tame prices as inflation began to play in politics.
