Chemours, a specialty chemicals producer is making progress in achieving its 2030 sustainability goals. The goals include reducing landfill volume by 70%, cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 60%, as well as improving safety performance for employee, process and distribution, as well as contractor by at least 75%.
Chemours plans to install new technology to control emissions at its Dordrecht site in the Netherlands next year. It also aims at a 99% reduction in fluorinated organic chemicals emissions of. The company’s internal report showed that it is on the right track to achieve such targets.
Apart from those goals, Chemours also aims at filling half of company’s position with female by 2030.
