According to the company’s website press release on May 9, 2023, EcoVadis has confirmed the “Platinum” rating of Versalis – Eni’s chemicals company – for the second year in a row. As a result, Versalis is now ranked in the TOP 1% for its industry, placing it in the highest segment for corporate social responsibility ratings.

EcoVadis is an independent agency specialising in sustainability performance in the categories of environment, human rights, ethics and procurement. The assessment uses a technology platform and criteria based on international standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the UN Global Compact and ISO 26000.
