Author: SSESSMENTS

South Korean carmakers Hyundai and KIA are cutting production at their US plants for another week due to a continued semiconductor shortage, industry sources said. Hyundai began lowering production at its sedan and SUV plant in Alabama early this week, while Kia’s sedan and compact utility vehicle plant in Georgia will run at just two shifts starting August 30 from three previously.
