On Wednesday, Libya’s National Oil Corp. lifted force majeure on crude oil loadings at Es Sider oil terminal but an oil tanker was still blocked from entering the port.
Previously, NOC Chairman Mustafa Sanalla said that the NOC should lift force majeure due to the clear Libyan and international consensus. However, the Delta Ocean tanker had been blocked from loading in the port.
Sanalla stated, “The NOC is consulting with all parties to find a way forward.”
