AlwaysFree: Maire Tecnimont, Hera Partner on Upcycling

Author: SSESSMENTS

NextChem, an energy transition subsidiary of Maire Tecnimont Group, and Aliplast, a plastic recycling and conversion subsidiary of Hera Group, are partnering for an upcycling project.

NextChem will serve technology and engineering, procurement, and construction for a plant that will utilize proprietary technology MyReplast for plastics waste upcycling into high value-added polymers.

The plant aims to obtain customized recycled products by treating post-consumer plastics waste. The products are set to have features and properties not losing to virgin polymers originated from fossil sources.
