AlwaysFree: Saudi Crude Exports Increase For Second Straight Month

Data from the Joint Organizations Data Initiative (JODI) showed that Saudi Arabia’s crude oil exports increased from 5.73 million bpd in July to 5.97 million bpd in August, marking the second successive month of increment. The official data showed that the kingdom’s oil production stood at 8.98 million bpd in August, rising by 500,000 bpd from a month earlier. JODI data also showed that  in August, the kingdom’s domestic crude refinery runs surged by 23% to 2.58 million bpd, while direct crude burn stood at 702,000 bpd, increasing by 57,000 bpd from July. Over the same period, its overall oil product consumption increased by 170,000 bpd to 2.55 million bpd.
