AlwaysFree: SIBUR Becomes Russia’s Top Exporter By Multimodal Shipments

According to the company’s LinkedIn post on April 27, 2023, in 2022, SIBUR exceeded its sales targets for Asia, in the process becoming Russia’s largest exporter by multimodal shipments. Pivotal to this was SIBUR’s rapid reorientation of logistics from Europe to Asia, product mix expansion and solid teamwork with various partners, including financial, logistics, storage, and accounting service providers.

China has become our top market, accounting for 80% of SIBUR’s export sales. Other countries are also highly promising, including Vietnam, where the Company has been active since 2021, as well as Bangladesh, Malaysia and Indonesia. SIBUR sees its total annual exports to Asia hitting 2 million tonnes of petrochemical products.
