AlwaysFree: Sinochem to Compound Elix Grades in China

Sinochem International’s Lightweight Materials Business Unit will start up a 24,000 tpa Chemical Industrial Park in Jiangsu, China.

At the start of production of the first phase, at the end of 2021, the facility will produce several specialty products from Elix Polymers’ product portfolio, including specialty ABS grades, high heat Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), ABS/PC, and PC/ABS.

In the second phase, the capacity is targeted to be expanded to 56,000 tpa with the production of other polymer compounds.
