Versalis published the signing of the closing and formalization of the latest acquisitions of 40% Finproject capital stake from VEI Capital. The chemical company will enter the high-performance formulated polymer sector and extend the positions to more resilient business when dealing with the volatile chemical industry. Versalis also launched the industrial partnership with Finproject as the latter is the market leader in cross-linkable and thermoplastic compounds, ultra-light materials and moulding for the footwear sector. The CEO of Versalis, Daniele Ferrari said that she is so delighted with the strategic operation and in the future she hoped to work together and aim to develop highly innovative, sustainable products and a circular economy.
The Versalis-Finproject operation will bloomed a new industrial centre of specialty plastic minerals with both of the company’s market position and industrial technology, bringing solutions to strategic sectors such as automotive, fashion, design, wires and cables, and other emerging industries.
