- A trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest import offers for trader’s bag US PE cargoes to the country. As compared to a week earlier, the offers for US HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 surfaced with an upward adjustment of $10/ton. The supplier claimed that the company has no inventory pressure at the moment as previously, the sales for US cargoes were satisfactory. Despite the increment, the trader stated that the market remains quiet as sentiment in the local market is lousy following the downward movement in the futures market. The trader opined that the market will remain quiet and the offers for import cargoes will eventually have to be adjusted lower again.
- A global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the offers for LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer increased by $10/ton and $20/ton respectively, compared to the offer level before the Labor Day holiday. While for HDPE Film, the offers were kept stable compared to the same period.
