- A trader based in China reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest offers for local PE cargoes across different grades that surfaced with a diverse movement. From the trader’s end, local offers for HDPE Film cargoes went down by CNY200/ton ($28/ton). Contrastingly, the trader’s offers for local LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 were adjusted up by CNY50/ton ($7/ton) and CNY100/ton (14/ton), respectively. All price changes compared to last Friday’s level.
- On the supply side, market sources in China shared with SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest updates of the inventory level of the two leading polyolefins producers in the country. As of Monday, May 18, the inventory level of polyolefins at both producers recorded at 905,000 tons, an increase of 45,000 tons from last Friday’s level.
