- A trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the trader’s offers for local PE cargoes across all grades are kept stable from a day earlier. By last week, local prices have reached the new lowest level recorded since 2005, hence market players are in a rush to move out inventory. However, deals remain difficult to achieve amid the current demand condition. Moreover, demand for the finished product from the export market vanishes due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
- Another local trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the company’s offers for LLDPE Film C4 have been adjusted upward. Compared to Monday’s level, the local offers for LLDPE Film C4 increased by CNY100/ton ($14/ton). While for HDPE Film and LDPE Film, the local offers are kept stable compared to the same period.
