- The leading Saudi polyolefins producer informed SSESSMENTS.COM that the offers for import PE cargoes across all grades for HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE were kept stable on a weekly comparison. The producer commented that the demand is rather slow. While for the outlook, the producer opined that there is a possibility for PE price to be adjusted downward once the delayed Iranian cargoes arrived.
- In the local market, a trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the trader’s local offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film have been adjusted higher by CNY200/ton ($28/ton) and between CNY100-150/ton ($14-21/ton) respectively from Tuesday’s level. Meanwhile, the local offers for LLDPE Film C4 were kept stable compared to the same period. The trader stated that the upward adjustments were supported by the increases in the futures market as well as the relatively tight supply for LDPE grades.
