- A global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that import offers for HDPE Film and LDPE Film cargoes from a United Arab Emirates producer increased by $50/ton and $65/ton respectively compared to the price level available in early July. Meanwhile, the leading Saudi polyolefins producer maintained a stable offer level for HDPE Film, while LLDPE Film C4 were trimmed by $30/ton on the week-on-week comparison. Further added by the trader, demand for HDPE Film and LDPE Film grades in China is still stronger as compared to the demand for LLDPE Film C4 as supported by the delayed Iranian cargoes. In the domestic market, the trader mentioned that the current price level is relatively stable compared to the price level in early last week.
- A trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the offers for import LLDPE Film C4 cargoes from a Singaporean producer captured lower by $20/ton from last week. Currently, the offers are available at $890/ton on LC at sight, CIF China Main Port basis.
