- A global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that a Thai PE producer has announced May shipment offers to China market. Compared to April shipment, HDPE Film and LDPE Film offers from the producer decreased by $50/ton and between $45-65/ton, respectively. While LLDPE Film C4 offers dropped by $75/ton from April shipment. Despite the significant reduction, the offers are deemed unattractive considering the current market situation.
- On the supply side, market sources reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that as of March 31, the inventory level of the two leading Chinese polyolefins producers stood at 1.175 million tons, a decrease of 5,000 tons from Monday’s level.
