- Supported by the increases in the futures market by Friday trading session, a trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that their offers for local and localized Middle Eastern LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes are adjusted upward by CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton) and CNY100-150/ton ($14-21/ton), respectively compared to Thursday’s level. Similarly, the offers for local and localized HDPE Film of various origins also increased between CNY100-150/ton ($14-21/ton) compared to the same period. The trader stated that the current offers for localized materials are enjoying premium around CNY100-200/ton ($14-28/ton) from local cargoes citing the relatively tight supply due to the delayed Indian and Iranian cargoes. Pertaining to the market condition, demand from the downstream factories is still considered satisfactory as some deals can be concluded every day at the low-end level of the price range.
- Another local trader also reported to SSESSMENTS.COM on revising local LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 offers. Compared to Wednesday’s level, the offers for local LDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 cargoes increased between CNY50-100/ton ($7-14/ton). Meanwhile, the offers for local HDPE Film cargoes are kept stable compared to the same period.
