- On April 7, SSESSMENTS.COM noted an upward price correction after the Ching Ming festival. As compared to Thursday, April 2, a Chinese trader increased the offers for local HDPE Film and LDPE Film by CNY200/ton ($28/ton) and CNY100/ton ($14/ton) respectively. The highest upward price correction captured on the offers for local LLDPE Film C4. During the same period of comparison, the trader adjusted up the offers between CNY400-450/ton ($56-63/ton).
- On the supply front, market sources in China gave details to SSESSMENTS.COM on the latest updates of inventory level of the two leading Chinese polyolefins producers. As of April 7, the inventory level of polyolefins at both producers recorded at 1.115 million tons, increased by 60,000 tons as compared to Friday’s level.
