- An Indonesian trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that this week, the company received offers for local LLDPE Film C4 at IDR13,000,000/ton ($918/ton) on cash, FD basis and excluding 10% VAT to East Java. However, offers to West Java might be below this level, as there are additional costs around IDR200,000/ton ($14/ton) for offers to this region. More added, recently, the availability of LLDPE Film C4 cargoes in the spot market is limited. While for HDPE Film, the trader commented that a local producer plans to increase offers for HDPE Film by IDR500,000/ton ($35/ton) in early July.
- While in Vietnam, a trader mentioned that import Middle Eastern PE offers to the country remain unchanged from last week. HDPE Film and LLDPE Film C4 from the leading Saudi polyolefins producer stand at $870/ton and $840/ton, respectively, with the shipment from Singapore. While from a Kuwaiti producer, HDPE Film offers are available at $820/ton. All offers are on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis. Buying sentiment in Vietnam is better compared to last week, buyers are more willing to make procurements. More added, the shipment for US PE cargoes will be delayed for two months, however, no clear information regarding the reason, as stated to SSESSMENTS.COM.
