- Market sources in Indonesia revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced a fresh price list for this week. As compared to the previous price list announced on May 12, the producer initiated a price increase of IDR450,000/ton ($30/ton) for HDPE Film and IDR600,000/ton ($40/ton) for LLDPE Film C4. The latest offers are available between IDR12,070,000-12,380,000/ton ($811-832/ton) for HDPE Film and at IDR12,170,000/ton ($817/ton) for LLDPE Film C4, all on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT.
- In the import market, the leading Saudi polyolefins producer is selling LLDPE Film C4 cargo to Vietnam at $770/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis. For a small quantity of purchases, a Vietnamese converter secured a deal for the cargoes at the initial offer level. The converter also reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the company’s sales to Europe market saw a year-on-year decline, falling 50% as compared to the same period last year as affected by the virus outbreak.
