- Market sources in Indonesia contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM stated that the leading polyolefins producer in the country has announced a new price list for the week commencing July 20. As compared to the price list released on July 15, the producer decided to roll over offers for all PE grades.
- Meanwhile, a Vietnamese trader reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that in late last week, offers for localized PE cargoes of various origins increased between VND1,000,000-1,500,000/ton ($43-64/ton). Likewise, import offers for LDPE Film of Malaysia origin emerged with an increment of between $30-40/ton, stood at $980/ton on LC at sight, CIF Vietnam Main Port basis. All were on a weekly comparison. For the outlook, the trader opined that there is a chance for PE prices to move lower, considering the slow demand for finished products.
