- A converter in Indonesia reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that local offers for LLDPE Film C4 were adjusted further this week. Compared to the offer received last week, the current offers for the grade are IDR200,000/ton ($14/ton) higher, stand at IDR13,500,000/ton ($964/ton) on cash, FD Indonesia basis and excluding 10% VAT. For HDPE Film, the converter received offers for local materials between IDR13,600,000-13,900,000/ton ($971-993/ton) with the same payment and delivery terms.
- From the import market, an Indonesian trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that offers for LLDPE Film C4 from a Thai PE producer stood at $840/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis. However, as the delivery will be in late July, the trader was uninterested in purchasing the cargoes. As for local LLDPE Film C4, according to the trader, the leading polyolefins producer in the country has limited allocation and could not fulfil all inquiries from buyers.
