- Market sources in Indonesia reported to SSESSMENTS.COM that the leading Indonesian polyolefins producer has announced fresh offers for this week. As compared to the previous price list, the producer has implemented a significant downward price correction for PP Homo Raffia by IDR940,000/ton ($59.2/ton). Meanwhile, the offers for PP Homo Raffia higher MFI remain absent this week.
- Meanwhile, a global trading house informed SSESSMENTS.COM that import offers for Middle Eastern PP Homo Raffia to the Vietnam market were absent last week. Most suppliers prefer to sell their cargoes to China as they could sell the cargoes at $750-760/ton-level. Meanwhile, in Vietnam, bids for Middle Eastern PP Homo Raffia were mostly at $730/ton-level. Additionally, Thai and South Korean producers also prefer to sell their cargoes to China. As such, import PP offers to Vietnam market were scarce last week.
