- A trader contacted by SSESSMENTS.COM’s team unveiled that Thailand suppliers are indicating firm prices for PP Homo Raffia for the week commencing June 1, citing the higher feedstock prices and limited supply. At the moment, most suppliers are quoting PP Homo Raffia prices of Thailand origin above $900/ton-level to the Southeast Asia market. However, buyers deemed the offers are too high and the acceptable level is at $900/ton. Further added by the trader, most Southeast Asian suppliers are not facing any sales pressure as previously they have sold a lot of materials to the China market.
- Whereas in Myanmar, a trader informed SSESSMENTS.COM that currently, import PP Homo Raffia prices of Middle East origin stand at $865-880/ton on LC at sight, CIF Myanmar main port basis. Compared to the level received on May 11, the current offers are higher between $15-20/ton. The source is wondering if import Middle Eastern PP Homo Raffia would reach $900/ton-level in the near future.
