- A woven bag manufacturer in Indonesia informed SSESSMENTS.COM pertaining to the latest offers for localized cargoes from the biggest local trading house in the country. According to the source, offers for localized PP Homo Raffia of Southeast Asia origin have increased by IDR100,000/ton ($7/ton) as compared to last week’s level. The current offers for localized PP Homo Raffia of Southeast Asia origin stand at IDR14,600,000/ton ($1,043/ton) on a 30 days credit term, FD Indonesia basis, excluding 10% VAT. In terms of demand for the end-products, the converter stated that demand for woven bags is healthy. The company has received a big volume of orders which supported the production to run at maximum capacity.

- Whereas in the import market, an Indonesian trader unveiled to SSESSMENTS.COM that import offers for PP Homo Raffia from Vietnam to Indonesia are available at $940/ton on LC at sight, CIF Indonesia main port basis for late July shipment. Further added by the trader, due to a lot of uncertainties in the market, buying import materials is a bit risky at the moment.
