A source with knowledge of the matter revealed to SSESSMENTS.COM that Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry has shut its polyethylene (PE) plant on December 24 for maintenance. According to the source, the producer’s PE plant is slated to remain off-line for around 4 to 5 days. The plant with a capacity of 450,000 tons/year is located in Ningxia, China.
